FAQ

Do I need a drawing?

No. Nine caliper measurements and photos are enough: cutting-circle diameter, body diameter, overall length, body length, bearing seat diameters at both ends, rotation direction from the pulley end, keyway size and thread, pulley-end shaft diameter, and the number of spiral rows you want.

Will the machine need modification?

No. The cutterhead is built to the stock seat dimensions, so the stock seat dimensions and fit are retained.

Which inserts are used?

Carbide inserts 15x15x2.5 mm with an R150 radius, four cutting edges each, Torx T20 screws (torque 5.4-5.6 N-m). No sharpening — rotate the insert 90 degrees, then replace it.
