FAQ

Do I need a drawing?

No. Nine caliper measurements are enough.

Will the machine need modification?

No. The cutterhead is built to the stock seat dimensions, so the stock seat dimensions are retained.

Which inserts are used?

Carbide inserts 15x15x2.5 mm with an R150 radius, four cutting edges each, Torx T20 screws (torque 5.4-5.6 N-m).

What is the difference between a "corn" head and a standard spiral head?

"Corn" is a shop-floor name for a spiral head with segmented inserts: the edges sit on a helical line, so the head enters the stock gradually instead of striking it — less noise and vibration, and far less tear-out.

Prices are not published on this site — quoted once the dimensions are confirmed. Cutting metal or abrasives is not covered by warranty.
